Tom Perry
A self taught photographer, I started taking pictures 5 years ago whilst I was living in Scotland and working as a Geophysicist. Since then I have been working as an outdoor guide and in tourism, during which time I have been fortunate to live, work and take pictures in the Italian Dolomites, the Yukon, Ontario, and the mountains and coastlines of British Columbia.
I am most at home in the great outdoors. Whether it be the mountains photographing wildlife in summer or exploring on skis in the winter; in -40 seeking out the Aurora Borealis; or torrential rains looking for Orca at sea.
I seek out new places and experiences, each time trying to progress and develop my passion for photography. I hope through my pictures I can encourage others to get out and have adventures of their own.
Outside of photography I work as an outdoor guide and in tourism. I am a qualified UK Mountain Leader and have experience leading day hikes, canoe trips. multi week expeditions, bicycle trips and snowshoeing. I love wildlife and the outdoor environment and always try to include this as an aspect on my trips.
